And now we wait patiently for Mallory’s first words to come. A lot of baby Jonesing going on in my brain as I hear her compatriots uttering what we understand to be baby words.
In this video she’s sitting with her Opa pointing at her uncle Paul and aunt Carol’s dogs. The sound is clearly intentional but it doesn’t sound a lot like ‘dog’, does it.
She makes a sound that sort of sounds like my cat’s name. And when she pointed at the cat and said “A-gaaah!” I was really excited. But then she pointed out the window (at what I don’t know – maybe a bird flying by) and said “A-gaaah!”
I have to remember we’re not in a race.
