Chris: my 'oatmeal' is for all to enjoy...and to keep us paddling strong. It is a hearty version and I can share it with all: one portion regular oatmeal - cook in boiling water - add more hot water and one portion of house-brand granola cereal from Kardish's bulkfood store + one heaping Tbsp of powdered milk - stir, stir, stir because you don't want it to stick - add more water to keep it all moist. And the trick to making it really yummy: 4 dried apricots chopped up, some dried papaya chopped up, and raisins (I would have put more, but Martin is not too crazy about raisins). So, voilà - yummy porridge for your next trip (or even at home before going out for a good ski!) Bon appétit à tous!

Nice Photos.... I've been wanting to do the Barron Canyon for sometime .... maybe later this fall.
