I may need to get a new saddle. How does one combat saddle sores? Seems to me this happened with this saddle the last time I rode Rideau Lakes. Apart from that, today was lovely. Great weather – ten whole degrees and all of them above zero.
I saw a coyote on Snake Island Road, and stumbled into some form of Ottawa Bicycle Club time trial on the Rockcliffe Parkway whereupon I was overtaken repeatedly by very fit, very well equipped riders. But no big. As I’m often telling myself: it’s a tour, not a race and it’s okay to be slow. You just have to get there.
