Don’t feel like you have to answer that. After being down for a few days while my phone service transferred from old to new house, I am back. Don’t have a phone yet, so I will need more attention from Bell, which could mean breaking my DSL connection but who knows.
While I’ve been away, I’ve learned that Donne Flanagan has died at 44. Donne is an old friend of mine from CUP days. We go back a couple of decades.
I am deeply saddened by this loss and my heart goes out to his family and friends in Winnipeg.
We lived quite far apart and co-incided not nearly enough, but his warmth, humour, compassion and intelligence will stay in my memory always. I’m honoured to have known him.
