Me looking grim after day one of the RLCT
I’m in Kingston now, holed up in my residence room after a couple of recovery beers. I don’t have my numbers because I only brought my phone and the GPS wants a computer to cough up the data, but I think I did well.

From what I can tell my average speed was 25.6km/h with moving time of 6:40.

My wheels were rolling out of Algonquin by about 7:15 and I got in to Queens just after 1pm.

The ride felt pretty good, despite a
headwind that started to bite just as
I started into the hilly bit.

The weather was pretty much perfect.
The OBC is a machine as usual, organizing the tour with dazzling efficiency and cheer.

And the t-shirts are royal blue.
