Mallory was out partying tonight
Well, okay, not really. But she was over at her friend C’s (movie and pizza night) til 8:30. Waaay past her bedtime.
I found it vaguely unsettling not to have her in the house for dinner time. I actually think that’s the first time she’s ever been on her own for meal at someone’s house, apart from birthday parties, of course.
Seems like she handled it well. Better than her parents, likely.
