Yay film buffs. The Mayfair is saved
A group of film buffs is pitching in to re-open the Mayfair Theatre. Yay them.
I am quite excited. Something that will keep the neighbourhood a bit more walkable. Now if only a group of food and vegetable store buffs would come along and resurrect the street’s only grocery store, that would be even better.
And if some… er… parking lot buffs would take over that vacant lot they’re planning on turning into a massive Shopper’s Drug Mart. Actually, I’m not attached to the parking lot. I’d like to see maybe a smaller drug store, or at least one with more parking.
