Seven random things about me
Apparently now I hate Laurie Kingston who tagged me with this seven things meme. I don’t, actually, but do feel this post is a bit more revealing than I’m used to. Ah well.
The rules:
- Link to your tagger and post these rules.
- Share 7 facts about yourself: some random, some weird.
- Tag 7 people at the end of your post and list their names (linking to them).
- Let them know they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment at their blogs.
Without further ado.
- I have broken three bones (so far) in my life: ulna, third metacarpal and clavicle
Though not in that order nor at the same time. - The worst was the clavicle.
It happened when I had a seizure. I went through a battery of tests that turned up nothing. But thinking about the possibilities was unpleasant. Despite the fact that… - I have a highly refined ability to say “shit happens.”
- I owe the second half of my life to Melinda Ham, a childhood friend who I ran into on my second day at university. She walked me into the McGill Daily office and introduced me to the editors. I never saw her again to thank her and now she doesn’t even google well.
- I don’t suffer fools gladly.
- My biggest fear is being one.
- I get that from school, I think. I still have nightmares where I discover I’ve failed to turn in a paper, or have studied for the wrong exam.
And now, we tag…
- Christine Mackay
- Tracey Lauriault
- Bernie Jansen
- Audra Williams
- Maurizio Ortolani
- Johanna Wandel
- Andy Anderson

It must be different – you don’t forward chain letters, do you?

Ha! You don’t suffer fools gladly? I never would have guessed.
I felt a bit like I was sending out a chain letter when I tagged you for this. But this is totally different, right? Right?

Never, ever, ever would I.

My version of the exam anxiety dream always has me "discussing" with the Dean of Arts, why McGill thinks a required course in some kind of engineering or chemistry (which I just found out was on my transcript and therefore my exam schedule) would be required for a BA. As a bonus, when taking away the BA they decide to take away my MA as well since the BA was a prerequisite for admission to the MA. I thought I would share that on your blog. Thanks for listening. Enjoy the canoe.T
