Lac Echo weekend
Irene and I went camping this weekend with Mike and Brenda. We went to Lac Echo in the Papineau Labelle wildlife preserve. Not a bad alternative to the usual Ottawa-area haunts. Obligatory trip report with photos.
Also in XHTML strict. Still have to figure out the character encoding business and why things go so potty on UTF-8 when it’s supposed to be the cat’s ass.
Next we go to Temagami.

The site you are referring to as a old farm, with the chimneys standing alone, is in fact the remains of what use to be :”The Echo beach fishing club” a private club that operated in the 1800″s
