Touching the Void: a film version
Two British climbers ascending a Peruvian mountain get into difficulty when one, Joe Simpson, falls and breaks a leg. His partner holds on to him as he dangle helplessly over a crevasse.
Eventually Simpson’s partner cuts the rope, and therein begins Simpson’s astounding tale of survival.
The movie is based on the book of the same name. Wonder if it will make it over here?
