My sweetie and I were recently in BC, visiting friends and doing a little hiking. BC’s wilderness is quite mindblowing. I have posted some photos I took. The gallery app is new and still sports its default appearance.
Born and raised in Ontario as I was, I was amazed at how beautiful mountains are. And the trees. Big big trees. And all so close to Vancouver.
Much of BC’s wilderness is under threat from logging, and any sensible compromises between the need for conservation and the need for profit seem to be off the table in the Gord Campbell area.
However it’s still possible to be surrounded by awesome wilderness, a very short ways out of Vancouver. If you can get past the Lion’s Gate Bridge.
